O&M Contracts
Energy International offers long term operations and maintenance contracts to our customers. Such offers
can be negotiated under either a "fixed cost" or "cost plus" basis. Energy International works
together with our clients to provide the best solution for their needs. We can
provide not only the types of contracts described below but can tailor an agreement to the customer's
specific requirements.
Energy International has four different standard contracts to meet the customer's requirements.
- A Full O&M Contract to cover the full operation of the plant with a full time
staff 365 days per year. It includes the commissioning and start-up of all of the equipment, on the job training (OJT)
for all personnel involved, operation, constant visual inspections, fluids analysis, trouble shooting,
spare parts inventory, scheduled and unscheduled repairs, all necessary tools, building and grounds
maintenance, plus a complete administrative staff. Additional services can be included as requested.
- A Maintenance and Repair Agreement (MRA) which provides on-site technical support
for all personnel involved, spare parts inventory, fluids analysis, a full time maintenance and
technical staff, and all necessary tools.
- A Maintenance Service Agreement (MSA). In this alternative Energy International would
have on-site technical support, OJT for all personnel involved, and spare parts recommendations.
- A Technical Service Agreement (TSA) which covers on-site technical
support, and OJT for all personnel involved.
Some of the ongoing contracts being performed by our company are:
- Full O&M for the 101 MW Monte Rio power plant in the Dominican Republic and for all phases
of the Textufil power plant in El Slavador, as well as the Esquintla power plant in Guatemala.
- In Nicaragua an MRA for the Censa Power Plant.
- British Petroleum in Colombia has an MSA for their pump sets and generators.
- A typical TSA contract for Censa in Nicaragua.
