Energy International was interested in showing their clients 3d visualizations
of power plants and power plant expansion projects. These animations are rough demos I created to
show what could be done with 3d visualization. I was hesitant to place the animations here since
they are very rough but decided to because they show what can be quickly done with 3d visualization.
There is a watermark - the text over the animation - because it was created using Maya Personal Learning
Edition, a full functioning free evaluation version of Silicon Graphic's Maya 3d software. This animation
shows a power plant expansion from four Caterpillar engines to twelve engines. All three animations were
modeled and rendered within three days.
